Walmer Science College Sixth Form provides an academic, caring and supportive environment, which prepares the young person to be a student in further or higher education, or a young adult in the world of employment. We endeavour to balance curriculum with enrichment activities, in order to develop the whole person.

Since the Sixth Form started in 1995, the students have enjoyed enormous success, with the majority each year going on to Higher Education.

The 6th form currently offers AS and A2 levels. Students study 4 AS Levels in Year 12 and then continue at least 3 of these into Year 13, where a full A2 can be achieved. All subjects are taught by specialist subject teachers.

From Sept 07 students entering 6th form will have the opportunity to take the following 1 year vocational course(s).

· BTEC First diploma - Public Services
